UPDATE: Gwen’s 24th Annual Beaver Island Quilt Retreat will be held at the charming 100 year old White Birch Lodge in Elk Rapids, Michigan. The Lodge is nestled in the woods on the shore of one of the most beautiful bodies of water in the Grand Traverse region. Elk Rapids is a charming northern Michigan small town with good restaurants and fun shopping, and the resort towns nearby offer more of the same. You need to bring: Sewing machine and basic sewing kit, rotary cutter, mat, 6″ X 12″ quilters ruler for this year’s project, which is a Pieced Basket Quilt. Open dates are 5-8 September.
