Fall Foilage Festival Dates Announced

The 43rd Annual Fall Foilage Festival will be held in Bedford, Pennsylvania on 6-7 and 13-14 October, 2007. This show offers over 400 craft booths that line the streets and the square in Bedford and in Fort Bedford Park. Artisans display an array of handcrafted work - pottery, woodworking, painted sweatshirts, dolls, baskets, dried flower arrangements, and wreaths. But - the focus here is quilts…

Hundreds of traditionally inspired, contemporary and antique quilts are shown in this competitive showcase. The area’s finest needleworkers display their craftsmanship and artistry in this annual exhibition presented by the Pioneer Historical Society. Whether you’re looking for that one-of-a-kind quilt for your bedroom, a decorative wall hanging, or for inspiration for your own creative work, this is a “must see” part of the festival.
