What is a reverse auction? In the case of The Fiber Art for a Cause Invitational Reverse Auction 2006, all artwork featured on that site will have a starting price beginning 16 May. This price is reduced 8% each day until the item sells. Wait too long and your favorite artwork will be gone!

Take a look at the work, choose one, then email Virginia Spiegel at “Virginia at VirginiaSpiegel.com” with the name of the fiber art you wish to purchase. She will then notify you when you have won a piece of fiber art. Only nine artists are invited for each FFAC Reverse Auction, so the choices are limited, but the cause is sublime. All monies donated to the American Cancer Society. The 2005 Reverse Auction raised over $2,500!
