The Annual Jefferson Quilt Show Quilts on the Bayou is sponsored by the Jefferson Regional Quilt Alliance and the Jeffersonian Institute. Quilts on the Bayou will be held 26-28 January 2007 in the Cypress Valley Education Center located at 120 East Austin Street in Jefferson, Texas. The hours are Friday and Saturday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Sunday, 28 January 2007, 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM with admission fees of $5/Adults and $4/Seniors 65 ‘n up and Children 6 - 12. The Cypress Valley Education Center is handicap accessible.

Quilts on the Bayou is a Viewers’ Choice quilt show with cash awards for the winning quilt entries and is open to all quilters who would like to enter their quilt/quilts. Deadline for Quilt Entry is no later than January 6, 2007. In addition to the $300 cash prize, the Grand Prize winner is awarded an Alto Quilt Cut 2 Fabric Cutting System valued at $200.
