June Notes

I’m always acutely aware when hurricane season rolls around, as my daughter lives on the Gulf Coast. She braved the worst of Katrina last year, and her father’s home remained intact throughout the ordeal. They were lucky. Many of my daughter’s classmates were displaced, as their parents lost jobs and homes. If you live along the “hurricane zones,” I hope that you have a much less exciting season this year, and that all storms fizzle somewhere in the middle of the Gulf of Mexico.

I hope that you all are pleased with the new format for quiltshome. I plan to change the RSS (Really Simple Syndication) feed this next week to Feedburner, and I’ll notify you through this blog when that happens. I’ll also have an email sign-up form that you can subscribe to so that you can receive all updated posts through your email. If you’ve noticed, I’ve also added a “contact” page for you to contact me about show news, or any other quilting news that you have on hand. I wish that I could answer questions about your quilt blocks, but I’m not that knowledgeable. I just know that I love quilts!
