Lowell Quilt Festival

The Lowell, Massachusetts, Quilt Festival is held annually for the benefit of the New England Quilt Museum and features the juried Images quilt show, with cash prizes in several categories starting in 2007, an exhibit of antique quilts curated by renowned collector Gerald Roy, an exhibit specially chosen for the festival at the New England Quilt Museum, classes and lectures by nationally acclaimed teachers, and more! In addition, many of the Lowell cultural organizations hold quilt-related events during the festival. These include the American Textile History Museum, the Whistler Museum of Art, the Brush Art Gallery, and many more.

Lowell Quilt FestivalOn 2-5 August 2007, LQF will be held at the Lowell Memorial Auditorium and the DoubleTree Hotel in Lowell. The Tsongas Arena, which has been the site of past Images, will be closed for extensive repairs to the rink area, and the Auditorium is a truly beautiful building which offers a warm and gracious setting for our quilt exhibits. The DoubleTree is located conveniently just across from the Auditorium, and there is ample parking at both venues. Visit the site for more information.
