Quilting With Manhole Covers - A Treasure Trove of Unique Designs from the Streets of Japan (Paperback) by Shirley Macgregor - Ok - I’ll face it. I can’t stay away from this book, because the ideas is brilliant. Macgregor undertook a task to document the beauty of Japanese manhole covers and then converted that documentation into quilted objects. A lesson to look everywhere for inspiration…even beneath our feet.
