Ricky Tims’ Convergence Quilts: Mysterious, Magical, Easy, and Fun (Paperback) by Ricky Tims - Wow! This is one of the best quilt books I’ve read cover-to-cover. It’s filled with eye-candy and laced with a humorous story. Tims brings the art quilt out of the museum and into the home, where explanations are clear and easy to follow. Convergence quilts feature two or more fabrics cut into strips, sewn together, then cut and pieced again. There are four projects in this book, and Tims demonstrates how to add applique, beadwork, and other decorative touches to achieve an infinite number of looks from one ingenious technique. Truly great gift for the creative quilter.
