From the Indiana Heritage Quilt Show: “Now that the holidays are over, take a few minutes to fill out an entry form for that beautiful quilt you’ve been making. We’ve increased the prizes and awards for the 2007 show, and we want you included in our competition. We give prizes for both amateur and professional categories, so you are competing only with your peers. We also give awards for hand and machine workmanship. Although we have requested a photo, please don’t let that stop you from sending in your entry. If your quilt isn’t quite finished, or if you can’t send a picture, don’t worry – mail in your entry anyway. The photos are for placement purposes only, and our show isn’t juried. We’ll continue to accept entries until our space is exhausted. We’ve extended the postmark deadline to 7 February, so you still have time to send in your entry!”
Check out their website at www.IHQS.org for details and printable forms for entries, classes, and to offer a few hours of volunteer time.
