KHQS Design Seminar 2007

The Kentucky Heritage Quilt Society (KHQS) Design Seminar 2007 will be taught by internationally known art quilter Carol Taylor of Pittsford, New york. Carol is a very inspiring teacher, and participants will undoubtedly leave her Seminar with more ideas and techniques than they can use in a year!

Carol approaches her quiltmaking with intensity and a seemingly boundless energy. Vibrant colors, striking contrasts, use of vluae, as well as heavy machine quilting and embroidery, distinguish Carol’s quilts. She ahs created over four hundred fifty quilts since she began to quilt in 1993. Carol’s quilts have won numerous awards including 5 best of show ribbons with 5 different quilts! In 2005 alone she won 22 major prizes. She has won awards at the AQS Show in Paducah, the International Quilt Association in Houston, and Quilters Heritage Celebration among others.
