Quilting Arts 2008 Calendar Contest Theme

Quilting Arts Magazine® is pleased to announce the seventh annual Quilting Arts Magazine® Calendar Contest.

The theme for the Quilting Arts Magazine® 2008 Calendar Contest is “A Novel Idea.” Show them in stitch, fabric, and embellishment how a favorite work of fiction has inspired you, influenced your life, changed you, made you laugh, or brought you joy. Was it a character, the story, the setting, or the writing itself? Does the book bring to mind a special time or person in your life? Let your quilt express “A Novel Idea.”

The winning 13 submissions (one for the cover and 12 the months) will each receive a $200 gift certificate to the Quilting Arts Magazine® online store. Your submissions must arrive at Quilting Arts Magazine®, in Stow, Massachusetts, by Friday, March 9, 2007, (sorry, no exceptions). Visit the site for details.
